This property is one of Sofia's older, Soviet-era luxury hotels and this fact is reflected in its more traditional atmosphere, but it still boasts an excellent location and an impressive range of amenities. The lobby is medium sized and very welcoming. The reception area features a blend of warm coloured marble tiles and furntiure made from very fine Bulgarian wood. All rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished with light wooden furniture. The hotel is a modern building from the socialist era. In addition to the main restaurant there is a Bulgarian wine restaurant in the basement, which is cosy and decorated in a rustic style. Overall the standard of décor and quality of service equate well to good hotels in Western Europe.
